With this update comes an odd mixture of shows. First, there's Reign: The Conqueror. This series chronicles the rise of Alexander the Great. Made by Peter Chung (of Aeon Flux fame), it is truly a unique, off the beaten path interpretation of the man and the time. The series is all over the place, so if you're looking for cohesion, Reign: The Conqueror is not where you should look. At the end, I was left scratching my head at the lack of lucidity. And pants.
Next, we have an old OAV from 1996, Debutante Detective Corps. This is a mildy amusing throwaway sort of OAV with a few jokes, a couple explosions, a bit of fan service, and paper thin characters. A decent waste of thirty minutes.
There's a minor update to the cast of K-On! as Jun Suzuki joins the group for voting. I less than three her. I less than three her very much.
Last, but not least, we've got the few ladies that appear in the Vampire Hunter D movie and sequel.
