Description
Appearing in Bakemonogatari, Mayoi is a pigtailed elementary school girl who seems to be lost, frequently consulting maps and scanning the horizon. Carrying a backpack as large as she is, she seems to be looking for someone or some place. Her initial enounter with Koyomi is frustrating for the both of them, and her habit of telling bad jokes or making obscure references throws Koyomi off, but the two eventually accept each other.
