Description
Referred to as the 'Black Reading Princess', Dalian is a keeper of the archives of Dantalian, a collection of 900,666 books of arcane knowledge. A former acquaintance of Hugh's grandfather, she has now teamed up with Hugh to collect mystic books that have made their way into others' hands. Dalian routinely derides Hugh for what she judges to be his shortcomings, but sticks close to him nonetheless.
