Description
Naru is an Okinawan girl and a friend of Ao's. For years she has been living with an illness that makes her physically weak and requires periodic oxygen therapy due to difficulty breathing. Naru is very close to Ao, standing up for and protecting him from those who look down upon him due to his apparent status as an outsider.
