Appearing in Heartcatch Precure!, Kaoruko is Tsubomi's grandmother. Though she spends her present days tending to a botanical garden, she spent her youth as the powerful Cure Flower, fighting against Dune and the Desert Apostles. Kaoruko is simultaneously proud of Tsubomi's growth as a Pretty Cure and worried for her well-being, and provides personal, tactical, and historical wisdom to Tsubomi and company.
