Description
Hedwig is the oldest of Baron von Trapp's daughters. As one of the older children, she has seen many governesses come and go and is thus extremely distrustful of Maria, going so far as being outwardly rude to her. Hedwig takes the lead in making sure all of the children in the household are banded together in rejecting Maria, and gets annoyed with the more pragmatic approaches that Werner and Rupert prefer.
