Appearing in .hack//Legend of the Twilight, Hotaru is a Wavemaster character who joins Shugo and Rena after Shugo performs a good deed for her. Hotaru is quiet and reserved and prefers to be backup in conflicts, healing others as opposed to fighting enemies. She does her best to help the group when conflict breaks out.
