Description
A classmate of Hale's, Mari views herself as a classic tragic heroine. She develops a crush on Hale (and subsequent crushing jealousy). Mari cares for Weda greatly and looks to her as a mother figure because she has none of her own. She also views Dr. Clive as a father figure and often fantasizes about a family including her, Hale, Weda, and Clive. Mari is very sweet, constantly cheerful and exceedingly energetic, often to Hale's chagrin.
