Description
Izumi is Al and Ed's teacher as well as near surrogate mother. A very skilled and powerful alchemist herself, Izumi reluctantly took Al and Ed on as students after they had lost their mother. Intimidating when necessary, Izumi also has a softer side as when she shows her worry for Al and Ed's safety. Izumi takes medication for a medical condition that causes her to cough up blood and collapse from weakness.
