Kafuka is a student in Nozomu's class. Kafuka is a pen name, and nobody seems to know her real name. Whereas Nozomu can only see the world in a negative light, Kafuka can only see the world in a positive light, and frequently offers interpretations of Nozomu's grievances that spin them in a positive way. Kafuka acts as a ringleader of sorts for the class when it comes to this.
