Description
Kamiya Kaoru is the sole practitioner of the Kamiya Kasshin-ryuu swordfighting style, and the head of a dojo dedicated to the technique. She inherited the dojo from her father after he was killed in the war. Her life is saved by the former Hitokiri Battousai: Kenshin Himura, one of the only people to share her belief that swords should be used to protect, not to kill. As the series progresses, she takes on Yahiko Myojin as her student, and develops a relationship with Kenshin, eventually falling in love and becoming his second wife.
