Back from the Dead Part II

by Panadero - April 9, 2010 7:33:01 PM MST

After over a month with no updates, I have a massive one tonight. The primary entry is for Kimikiss Pure Rouge, the hentai game turned anime that turned out to be quite good. They tweaked the formula to completely bypass the harem aspect of this kind of adaptation, there were multiple couples formed, and the emotions and situations felt much more realistic than other entries in the genre. Check it out if you can.

The other entries include: Uchuu Kazoku Carlvinson, an old OAV about aliens adopting a human baby; Domain of Murder, a mystery OAV involving a murderer on the loose; Madonna, an exceedingly low budget (but full of heart) tale of a fresh-from-college teacher and her attempts to reform a class of delinquents; Teki wa Kaizoku: Neko no Kyouen, a fun OAV about space pirates and the detective forces hunting them; Birth, a very old sci-fi OAV released in the early days of the direct-to-video market; Abashiri Family, a typically violent OAV from Go Nagai about a crime family and the secret it holds; Minna Agechau, the decidedly NOT for children but surprisingly charming ecchi comedy; and Tenshi Nanka ja Nai, a cute little OAV about a girl and her exploits in love and the student council. All told, that's 19 characters in 9 series! Whew!
