We were dealing with persistent stability issues with the box on which the FTP server ran and finally determined the cause to be bad RAM. We're waiting for replacements but in the meantime the FTP is up and ready for any contributions you might have. Keep in mind there might be more short downtimes when we get replacement RAM and if and when we upgrade the FTP software.
