Angels and Demons

Here we have two series that have almost nothing in common - High School of the Dead and Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan - other than copious amounts of blood.
High School of the Dead turned out to be much more enjoyable than I expected, impressing me highly after the end of the second episode. It's a very standard premise - zombie apocalypse vs struggling rag-tag group of survivors - but I don't recall seeing the concept in anime form before. The show is very effective in building suspense especially between each episode. I'd recommend it (if only due to the copious amounts of fan service as well @_@). The 5 ladies for HOTD are up for voting goodness.
On the other end of the spectrum we have Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan, a slap-stick comedy about an angel sent back in time to kill a boy who will grow up to cause great trouble. Except she doesn't. Well, she does, but then she resurrects him. Then she kills him again. Lather, rinse, repeat. There's huge amounts of blood, sexual innuendo, and wackiness which all serve up quite a few laughs. There are 5 additions from Dokuro in need of voting.
