Description
Ran is Mai's grandmother and the principal of Kin'gyoku. After learning that her first love Saizou has passed away, she decides to adopt his grandson Kabamaru and take him to Tokyo. Ran sees much of Saizou in Kabamaru and spends equal time admiring him and feuding with Suu, the principal of Ougyoku and her long time rival for Saizou's love.
